Hard toil, struggle, sweat, and pain in work is a part of the curse that came with sin (Gen 3:17-20). We will no longer face the challenges and limitations we face one earth. In the eternal state, work will be more like that work which Adam and Eve enjoyed. Revelation mentions this several times; how we will be serving God. The Lord is going to make a new earth that will literally be an “Eden” or “Paradise” and, just as God gave Adam and Eve work to do in the Original Paradise, there will be work to do in the coming Paradise.
